by george perlotto posted 07/17/2010

Fastpitch Dynamics is now an official sponsor of the Stratford Brakettes. Because Fastpitch Dynamics represents the very best in pitching instruction it was only natural the FDS would support the most successful ASA women's softball program in the US.

Featured in the photo below are George Perlotto, President of Fastpitch Dynamics, Rachel Fico from LSU and Lindsey Kay Bright from Fordham University.

Kathleen Conway was selected as the Hartford Courant's Player of Year for 2010. This is the second time that Kathleen has been honored with the award, also being selected in 2009. In her 4 years at Simsbury High School, Kathleen's career included 707 strikeouts, an average strikeout of 1.88 per inning, a 1.05 ERA, allowed only 59 earned runs, walked only 44 batters and posted a record of 44-13. Kathleen will begin school in the Fall at the University of Delaware and be pitching for the Delaware Blue Hens. Congratulations Kathleen on a tremendous high school career and all the best at University of Delaware. It has been a pleasure for me to have you as a pitching student. You will truly be missed.

MEUNIER, MARKS AND RUBEGA SELECTED ALL STATE!!
by george perlotto posted 06/29/2010

Three FDS pitchers, Jojo Meunier, Julie Marks and Tess Rubega were selected by the CHSCA as All State players last week at the annual banquet held at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington, CT.

JoJo Menuier was selected to this years CHSCA All State team in Class S. She pitched her Somers High School team to the semifinals in the CIAC State Tournament. Her record was 19-7, an ERA of .99, threw 2 x no-hitters, 2 x one-hitters and 8 x two-hitters this season. The most notable statistic for JoJo, she struck out 314 batters during the season.

Julie Marks, who was also selected All State in 2008, was again recognized for her outstanding season, posting an 18-2 record for Granby Memorial High School, had a stingy ERA of .72 and struck out 237 batters. Julie who had an outstanding 4 year career at Granby, will continue her education at Central Connecticut State University and be pitching for the Blue Devils.

Tess Rubega, was also selected to the All State Academic team by the CHSCA. In 4 years at Norwich Free Academy, Tess's GPA was a stellar 3.98. Not only did Tess apply herself in the classroom but she also contributed in the circle having one of the lowest ERA's in Connecticut this season, at .98. All her hard work and diligence in the classroom and on the playing field paid big dividends for Tess and she will be attending Babson College in September.

Outstanding work,  ladies!

REVFIRE POSTS FASTPITCH DYNAMICS TESTIMONIAL.
by george perlotto posted 10/16/2009

Recently the Revfire Corporation posted my testimonial on their web site. It is important to note that the spin-rates that FDS pitchers are achieving are in the upper 5% in the US to include the High School and College level. This success is due in part to the Revfire technology, but moreover to the pitcher's hard work and commitment to excellence. Revfire has been a tremendous tool and by using it in a competitive environment it builds in  success over time.

PITCHING LESSON OPENINGS.
I currently have 3 openings for pitchers for this upcoming 2010-2011 off season schedule. Ideally, I am looking for pitchers from the class of 2012 and 2013 that are interested in pitching at the collegiate level. They need to work as hard in the classroom and as they do in the circle. If you have any questions on my program please call me at 860-605-5336.
